For Your Eyes Only!
Firearms training is serious, but that does not mean we can not have fun doing it. Never take yourself too seriously.
Don't let the first time you shoot in a non-traditional position, be the time that it counts.
Your fundamentals application will change based of off time (urgency), distance, and available target areas. Learn to balance your needs in order to hit the target with consistency. Shoot fast when you can, shoot slow when you must.
Working the issue to get the gun back working and into the fight.
Minimal movement of the trigger, equates to minimal movement of the sights. Always reset and prep the trigger during recoil, after every shot.
Your need and ability to perform sight management is dictated by time (urgency) and distance to target. There are other techniques of sight "forgiveness" to master, as you grow as a shooter.
Staying in your comfort zone will not make you better. It's okay to make errors and learn from those errors.
Eliminate movement that you don't need, minimize the movement that you do need, then be efficient in that movement that you must do.
Learn to near master the fundamentals
If you want to learn and laugh while doing it...
